PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide navigation equipment which can guide a route between a practical parking position of a vehicle and an original destination. SOLUTION: When a vehicle reaches a parking lot in the vicinity of a selected destination and turns to the state of engine idling, and a parking signal is inputted in a navigation part 34, a guide map is displayed on a monitor 20 for a specified time, which map shows a residual route from a present position (parking position) to the destination. At the same time, speech guide (for example, 'Go out a parking lot, turn to the right, go 100 m on one road as it is, cross another intersection, turn to the left and go 20 m') is outputted from a front speaker 22. A rider hears the speech guide while seeing a guide map displayed on the monitor 20, and can memorize the residual walking route as far as the destination, so that he can walk as far as the destination without losing his way after getting out the vehicle. |
