PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the handling of a base isolation base in a ball type base isolation base having balls interposed between the upper and lower bases in such a manner as to be capable of rolling by providing a lifting allowing means for lifting upper and lower bases together on the lower surface of the lower base. SOLUTION: In the application to the base isolation base for a showcase used in a museum, an upper bracket plate 10 and a lower bracket plate 11 are fixed to the lower surface of an upper base 3 and the upper surface of a lower base 4 by screwing, respectively, and stopper plates 14, 15 are arranged between the support plate 6 of the upper base 3 and the upper bracket plate 10 and between the support plate 7 of the lower base 4 and the lower bracket plate 11, respectively. A major diameter cylinder 16 provided on the upper stopper plate 14 protrusively downward is slidably fitted to a minor diameter cylinder 17 provided on the lower stopper plate 15 protrusively upward, and a screw passed through the upper stopper plate 13 is screwed into the lower stopper plate 15, whereby a connecting means for retaining the upper and lower bases 3, 4 in the vertically inseparable state so as to be horizontally relatively movable as a lifting allowing means is constituted.
