PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a column head, a column leg and a joining part in reinforced concrete column and floor beam to form a pilotis from being broken in a reinforced concrete building having the pilotis. SOLUTION: In the reinforced concrete building having the pilotis, a column head part, a column leg part and a joined portion of a column 1 with a floor beam 2 are prevented from being broken by respectively increasing the toughness of the reinforced concrete column 1 to form the pilotis against the compression, and the toughness of the reinforced concrete floor beam 2 against the bending force and the shearing force, enabling the pilotis type reinforced concrete building.
