PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a data communication system improved in data transferring speed by eliminating the time lag between the terminals of a switch. SOLUTION: This data communication system is constituted by connecting a plurality of communication equipment 20 and 30 to a data bus 70, composed of a plurality of signal lines and providing switches 22 and 32 which respectively connect and disconnect the equipment 20 and 30 to and from the bus 70, so that the equipment 20 and 30 conduct communication with each other by switching the switches 22 and 32. Here, the signal lines connected to the corresponding terminals of the switches 22 and 32 are replaced with each other.
