PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector allowing inspecting an installation of a rubber plug, and to surely prevent a breakage of a peripheral wall and the like by discharging water penetrated into a rubber plug storage recess part from a wire insertion hole. SOLUTION: A terminal storage room 13 is formed in a connector housing 11, a terminal 14 connected with a wire 20 is freely stored in the terminal storage room 13, and the terminal storage room 13 and the wire 20 are freely sealed with a rubber plug 18 in this waterproof connector 10. A wire insertion hole 21 is formed on a wall part 17c opposing to the terminal storage room 13 in the connector housing 11. A rubber plug storage recess part 19 is formed at a position opposing to the wire insertion hole 21 inside the wall part 17c. The rubber plug 18 is freely stored in a connector engaging direction in the rubber plug storage recess part 19. Rubber plug exposing holes 17e, 17f, 17g are formed on a peripheral wall part 17d excepting a seal part for the rubber plug 18 around the rubber plug storage recess part 19.
