METHOD FOR DISCRIMINATING SIGNALS OF REPEATER USING DELAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for discriminating signals of a repeater using a delay device is provided to attach a time delay device to the repeater additionally installed to serve a shadow area of a corresponding base station, and to discriminate repeater signals having time delay and base station signals directly received to the base station. CONSTITUTION: A time delay device(121) is installed in a repeater(12) to apply time delay, when signals of a terminal performing speech in a service area of the repeater(12) serving a shadow area of a base station(11) are received to the base station(11) through the repeater(12). Calls are connected between the terminal and the base station(11), to calculate time for receiving signals from the terminal to the base station(11). The time for the receiving signals is compared with a preset critical receiving time, to discriminate signals having time delay as much as the time delay of the time delay device(121) and signals without time delay.
