PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely manufacture a friction stir joined product which is adjusted to a prescribed dimension of width. SOLUTION: Two plate members 1 and 2 are located in parallel with each other with a spacing 3 of (x1+x2) in a direction of a width so the a manufactured product by a friction stir joining method has a prescribed dimension of width W. A friction stir joining work is carried out at a spaced part 3 in the said state by joining the two plate members 1 and 2 in the direction of the width, thus a product by a friction stir joining which is adjusted to the prescribed dimension of width W is given. |
