PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small microwave oven. SOLUTION: A board 7 is installed in a machine chamber 5, and a step-up transformer 8 is mounted on the rear end part of the board 7. The step-up transformer 8 is used for boosting a commercial power source to generate a driving power source of a magnetron 78, and a core 48 of the step-up transformer 8 is so tilted from the front side toward the rear side as to separate from the board 7. Therefore, since the occupation area of the core 48 never extremely increases in one direction as compared with the case that the core 48 is arranged vertically to or in parallel with the board 7, the device can be miniaturized.
