PURPOSE: A method for producing functional peptides from fishes is provided, thereby the functional peptides can be mass-produced with low cost using novel raw materials. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of; pretreating fishes with water to wash out; adding an alkalic solution into the pretreated fishes to remove fats therefrom; adding protease two times into the defatted fishes; filtering them with the activated clay and diatomaceous earth under the reduced pressure and refiltering with a filtering membrane; concentrating the filtrates using a vacuum concentration device; and freeze-drying under vacuum condition, the alkalic solution is a solution of 1.0 to 0.05% of Na2CO3 containing 0.5 to 0.01% of NaCl, and the protease is selected from Maxazyme NNP, Promod 192P, Collupulin, Alcalase, Flavourzyme, Protamax, Papain 30000. |
