PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain two fluid pipes having different diameters by use of the same protective cover. SOLUTION: This device is formed of a protective cover C for housing and protecting a water pipe (fluid pipe) P in the inner part by integration of a base 10 with a lid 20 and a fluid pipe retainer 31. The fluid pipe retainer S1 comprises a retaining part 2 for retaining the water pipe (fluid pipe) P and an opening part 1 for inserting the water pipe (fluid pipe) P to the retaining part 2. The opening part 1 is positioned so as to face the front and mounted on the base 10, and the water pipe (fluid pipe) P inserted from the opening part 1 is retained within the protective cover C by the retaining part 2.
