PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily correct a rotational unbalance by supporting a turn table through a plurality of correcting spheres, and coating a rolling control material having large friction on a rolling surface of a correcting sphere, in a balance device for correcting an eccentricity and an eccentric center of gravity of an optical disk after mounting on a driving means. SOLUTION: A balance correcting mechanism 8 of an optical disk device is provided with an annular cavity part 801 including an annular rolling locus of a plurality of correcting spheres 802, and the annular cavity part 801 is provided with an outer peripheral wall 803 formed integratedly with a turn table 701, a receiving disk 804 of the correcting spheres 802, and an inner circumferential surface mounted on the optical disk surface. When rotation of a spindle motor 7 is started and its rotating frequency exceeds a resonance point, a phase is inversed for 180 deg., and thereby, force faced to the direction opposed to a disk unbalance is acted on the correcting spheres 802, and its unbalance is corrected. Grease 806 as a rolling control material for controlling rolling of the correcting spheres 802 is coated on the correcting spheres 802, and smooth correction is carried out.
