PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sliding between sliding members, and improve base isolation performance of a support device by covering either one of sliding surface in a supporting member fixed to the ground side and the sliding member capable of relatively sliding and moving on the supporting member, with a lubricating film made of specified polyethersulfone. SOLUTION: In a support device for base isolation of a base isolation device for protecting a structures from the earthquake, a sliding member 2 is mounted on a supporting member 1 fixed to the ground side freely to slide and move. In this case, a sliding surface of the sliding member 2 is covered with a lubricating film, and a soft film 4 is also formed on the supporting member 1. The lubricating film 3 is composed of polytetrafluoroethylene of 4 to 60 capacity %, fused fluorocarbon resin of 0.5 to 35 capacity %, and polyethersulfone including 75 capacity % and less in the sum of polytetrafluoroethylene and the fused fluorocarbon resin. The soft film 4 is composed of a crystallinity resin such as fused fluorocarbon resin and the like having a small frictional coefficient between both films 3, 4, and having a good abrasion resistance.
