PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent foiling of a wall surface by an exhaust flow and exercising a thermal influence even when the back part of a heating cooking apparatus is joined with a wall surface or approaches it, and to also improve whole appearance. SOLUTION: In a heating cooking apparatus 21 to perform microwave cooking by a magnetron 34 and range cooking by electric heaters 28 and 19, a rearward expanding rear plate 35 forming a closed space part 37 between a deep wall 23b and rear plate is situated on the outer surface side of an exhaust port 31 formed in the upper part of the deep wall 23b of a range chamber 23. An external exhaust port 39 opened toward above is formed in the upper surface of the rear plate 35.
