PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small cord housing device which houses a connection cord while no appearance is damaged in housing state. SOLUTION: On the side surface of housings 32 and 34, a take-up part 64 which acts both as a cover capped over the speaker core which is built in and as a take-up member for a connection cord 56 is provided. The connection cord 56 drawn out of the inside surface of the housing 34 is taken up around the take-up part 64 for housing. Or, an open/close lid is provided which reduces the protrusion amount above the tip end of the take-up part 64 with the tip end of the take-up part 64 of the housing 34 inserted for closure.
