PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable quick shifting operation according to driving conditions of a vehicle and improve driving feeling, by reducing transmission changeover time in a transmission control device of main and auxiliary transmissions. SOLUTION: When a transmission ECU 26 recognizes necessity of transmission command from a previously set transmission stage map according to an accelerator opening and vehicular speed, air supply to the present transmission range side is commanded. For instance, a solenoid valve 25a is operated for commanding air supply to one fluid chamber of a range cylinder 20, and then air supply to the next transmission range side is commanded. In another case, a solenoid valve 25b is operated for commanding air supply to the other fluid chamber of the range cylinder 20, and then air discharge from the fluid chamber corresponding to the present transmission range side is commanded. In still another case, the solenoid valve 25a is operated for commanding air discharge from one fluid chamber of the range cylinder 20.
