SUBSTANCE: method involves determining optic axis of an eye by means of selected reference points which coordinates are entered into computer to be used with scanning system with needed adjustments made for producing the next laser impulse. To determine optic axis of an eye, new reference points are to be marked on the eye cornea as labels visible in infrared and ultraviolet radiation bandwidth all over the perimeter outside the surgical intervention zone. The spatial coordinates of the points are entered into the computer by means of two video cameras. The computer controls the scanning system operation in three-dimensional space, positioning laser beam focus in a predefined point based on superimposed projections of two diaphragms through which diode laser beams pass.
