PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack easy to be clamped. SOLUTION: A battery pack 100 has a housing 11 provided with opposed wall parts, a plurality of battery cells at the inside, at least two terminals connected electrically with the battery cells and latch mechanism parts 18 arranged on each opposed wall part for locking the battery pack 100 on a power tool. Each of the latch mechanism parts 18 has latches and buttons 18B on the wall parts. The latches can be moved between release positions and lock positions and the buttons 18B are arranged along an almost vertical direction first plane. The number of battery cells arranged along the first plane is smaller than the number of battery cells arranged along a second plane almost parallel to the first plane. The battery pack 100 may have battery cells arranged and overlapped on the plurality of battery cells. The overlapped battery cells are arranged along the first plane. The overlapped battery cells are not included in the number of the battery cells arranged along the first plane. |
