PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent drop in magnetizing coefficient of a permanent magnet with generation of deviation of a permanent magnet in the magnetic field direction, when the rotor and stator having the permanent magnet are provided. SOLUTION: This magnet motor has a stator 101 and a rotor 102. The rotor 102 comprises a cylindrical ring of a nonmagnetic material at the external circumference, a permanent magnet 107 that is continuous in the circumferential direction arranged at the internal side of a cylindrical ring 106 and an iron core 109 formed by laminating a thin magnetic steel plate arranged at the internal side of the permanent magnet 107. The internal cylindrical surface of the permanent magnet 107 is provided at least with one recessed part 107a for positioning the iron core 109, the external circumferential surface of iron core 109 is provided with a projected area 109a, for positioning the permanent magnet corresponding to the recessed area 107a for positioning the iron core and the cylindrical ring 106, the permanent magnet 107 and iron core 109 are engaged mutually and fixed with each other. The rotor 102 is magnetized so as to make the magnetic lines of force flow toward the center from the external circumference.
