PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability by constituting a hinge into a prescribed structure, and adjusting a position without a tool. SOLUTION: After inserting adapters 13, 14 into a cross-sectional U-shaped hinge arm 4 connected to a door 1, a shaft 11 is hooked on a seat plate 3 fixed to a furniture side face plate 2, and the adapters 13, 14 and the arm 4 are fixed to the plate 3 by a locker 8. Next, a plate 19 having a spiral groove on an under surface is jornalled to the adapter 14 to be fitted to a large gear 5, a pivot 16 arranged in the adapter 13 is inserted into the groove, and the gear 5 is projected from a side surface of the arm 4. Next, an adjusting screw 12 is thread-mounted on the arm 4, a neck part 30 of a head part 29 is inserted into slits 31, 32 of the adapters 13, 14, the neck part 30 is held by a catch 15 fitted to a large gear 6, and the gear 6 is projected from the side surface of the arm 4. When rotating the screw 12 by the gear 6, the arm 4 is lifted, and when rotating the gear 5, the spiral groove guides the pivot 16, the adapters 13, 13 relatively move, and the arm 4 moves in the depth direction. Thus, a position of the arm can be adjusted without using a tool.
