PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a reproduced frequency band for a low frequency sound and to eliminate the resonance in a high sound frequency band by forming a hole to mount a speaker unit to a side wall whose one end is choked and fitting a front face of the speaker unit to a hole of a pipe while directing it toward inside the pipe. SOLUTION: The low tone reproduction speaker system is provided with two pipes 1, 2 that are placed in parallel with one speaker unit S and whose one end is closed. For example, the speaker unit S with a cone-shaped diaphragm of 10 cm in diameter and its minimum resonance frequency is 100 Hz. The cross sectional area of the pipe 1 is nearly equal to the area of the diaphragm of the speaker unit S and formed to have a nearly square cross section of, e.g. 12 cm long in each side. A hole 1b to mount the speaker unit S is formed to one side wall 1a of the pipe 1, the front face of the speaker unit S is directed to the inside of the pipe 1 and the speaker unit S is mounted to the hole 1b.
