The method involves activating the address of every line at the refreshing frequency, thus connecting it to the address bus and activating the control signal RAS. In consequence each time data is written or read the contents of a line are refreshed. The basic idea is that with each write /read operation each line is refreshed at the required frequency or faster. Consequently the read/write and refreshing functions no longer form separate steps
