PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining structure excellent in strength and reliability by joining a reinforcing material being the almost same plane as flanges between a tip surface of beam connecting members on the outer periphery of a diaphragm and a flange side surface of beam members connected to the beam connecting members. SOLUTION: Flanges 15a, 16a, a reinforcing material 19 and beam connecting members 12, 13 are joined by a welding part, and the flanges 15a, 16a and the reinforcing material 19 are joined by the welding part. A welding groove is formed in the reinforcing material 19 for securing joining strength and reliability of the welding part. A back strip is attached to a bottom surface of the welding part to thereby avoid a sudden cross-sectional change in a joining part of the beam connecting members 12, 13 of a diaphragm 11 and the flanges 15a, 16a of beam members 15, 16 to smoothly transmit stress to the diaphragm 11 from the beam members 15, 16 to prevent rupture caused by stress concentration. Since a shape of the reinforcing material 19 is a taper shape, stress concentration is not caused.
