<p>A rotary-molded, three-dimensional, multi-polymer article, e.g. a multi-color door mat, where sections of projecting elements comprise different polymers. Such multi-polymer articles are produced on a rotating cylindrical mold (20) in continuous lengths wherein said apparatus comprises a rotatable, cylindrical mold having a plurality of circumferential, rows of cavities (22) and a plurality of parallel grooves (24) separating the rows of cavities. Two sources of polymer (30, 48) are fed to the rotating mold from a stationary polymer injection block (28) in arcuate proximity to the mold and having a plurality of cavity injection ports (50, 46) for supplying at least two different polymers to corresponding rows of cavities to form projecting elements, and a plurality of base-forming injection ports (54) for supplying polymer to corresponding parallel grooves to form a base.</p> |
