PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal fitting for an exterior wall material, by which the exterior wall material for a residence can be set and fixed easily from an indoor section and firmly to a supporting material and which can contribute to an improvement in the setting works for the exterior wall material. SOLUTION: In the metal fitting 10 or setting and fixing the ceramic exterior wall material to a supporting material such as a stud from an indoor section, the metal fitting 10 is composed of a fixture 11 previously set up to the rear of the exterior wall material and a supporting metal fitting 12 connected to the fixture 11 in a position adjustable manner and fixed onto the side face of the supporting material. The supporting metal fitting 12 is connected to the fixture 11 through hinge mechanisms 16, 20, 23 while an intermediate section 21 is bent easily and the supporting metal fitting is constituted in the position adjustable manner. The fixture 10 has a knob section 17 for drawing near and abutting the exterior wall material to the supporting material.
