PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely set input and output directions at low cost even though a cutting direction is restricted by defining one end of a 2nd waveguide whose middle part is connected to one end of a 1st linear waveguide as a short-circuit surface and the other end as an output surface and also inserting a matching element bar. SOLUTION: This waveguide 10 consists of the 1st linear waveguide part 11 and a 2nd linear waveguide 14 which is arranged orthogonally with the part 11 and constitutes a T-junction as a whole. An end of the part 11 which is farther from the part 14 forms an input terminal 12 and has a plane of symmetry 13 that goes through the center of the part 11 and traverses the part 14. One end of the part 14 is closed and forms a short-circuit surface 17, and the other end forms the output terminal 16. A matching element 18 is inserted into the plane 13. Generally, a T-junction equally divides a signal inputted from the terminal 12 and outputs the resultant signals to both ends 16 and 17. However, in the case of the waveguide 10, one end of the T-junction is defined as the surface 17 and the matching element is inserted into the plane 13, and hence an input signal is outputted to the terminal 16.
