PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize an image output system capable of reducing an operation load concerned with color reproduction. SOLUTION: An image processor 100 provided with attribute decision means 152, 153 for deciding the attribute of an input image D1, a color decision means 151 for deciding whether the input image is an image in a color reproducing range or not, a color range changing means 120 for changing a color range of the input image when the input image is not included in the color reproducing range, and a processing contents switching means 123 for switching contents of a change in the color range by the means in accordance with decision of the means 152, 153 120 is arranged as a pre-stage device of an output device 20 for reproducing the image.
