摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a contact state between a link and each trunnion in a uniform state and to prevent hysteresis from occurring to transmission characteristics. SOLUTION: This transmission comprises a power roller 20 nipped between input and output discs and supported respectively by a pair of trunnions 4; a shaft part 41 formed at the end part of the trunnion 4; an upper ring 5 to intercouple the shaft parts 41 of a pair of the trunnions 4 and 4 through through- holes 5a formed in two end parts and having an approximate central part oscillatorily supported by an upper link post 17 fixed at a casing 11; a spherical joint 60 allowing relative oscillation of the upper ring 5 and the trunnion 4 and meanwhile regulating displacement of the trunnion in the axial direction of the shaft part 41; and a shoulder part 40 formed at the trunnion positioned opposite to the upper link. A protrusion part 50 formed at the upper link 5 and making slide contact with the shoulder part 40 of the trunnion 4 when the link is oscillated has an outer periphery, making slide contact with the shoulder part 40 and being formed in an arc.
