PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat battery that enables easy extraction of the battery terminals. SOLUTION: The flat battery 1 includes a positive terminal 4 and a negative terminal 5 connected to the battery core 6, and a laminating film 2 enclosing the battery core 6. The laminating film 2 has a sealing closure 3 inserting the positive terminal 4 and negative terminal 5. A notch 3a is formed in the upper side of the laminating film 2a of the sealing closure 3 to expose one end surfaces of the positive terminal 4 and negative terminal 5 with the other end surfaces set to direct along the lower side of the laminating film 2b.
