PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for a radio communication terminal, capable of reducing the input of the noise, which is generated in a control circuit, of a high frequency component with the same frequency as a receiving frequency in a radio communication terminal through a ground to a high frequency circuit without damaging the characteristics of the antenna. SOLUTION: When the antenna is extended, the full length of a 1/2λwhip antenna 102 is operated as an antenna and a high frequency current rarely flow to the ground of a circuit board 108. When the antenna is housed, on the other hand, the full lengths of a 1/4λhelical antenna 101 and a 1/4λradial 109 are operated as an antenna and the high frequency current rarely flow to the ground of the circuit board 108. When the antenna is extended, a second contact 104 transmits the electric high frequency signal of the 1/2λwhip antenna 102 to the circuit board 108 and matching is controlled by a second matching part 106 at the time of extending the antenna. When the antenna is housed, a first contact 103 transmits the electric high frequency signal of the 1/4λhelical antenna 101 to the circuit board 108 and matching is controlled by a first matching part 105 at the time of housing the antenna.
