PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel image communication apparatus that employs an image processing device that is removably connected to an image communication apparatus having a function of image communication with an external device through a channel and can enter image information of an object in a state such that two way information communication is physically impossible with the image communication apparatus. SOLUTION: The image processing device is provided with an entry means that enters image information of an object, a connection means that connects an external storage medium detachably, and a communication means that makes two-way communication with the image communication apparatus. The connection state of the connection means is transferred to the image communication apparatus via the communication means.
