PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording capable of obtaining a stable output by preventing blurring printed matter and displacement of dots in the vicinity of both ends of a recording electrode, and an image recording device using the same. SOLUTION: Power supply regions 3a, 3b are provided at both ends of a recording electrode 2. Furthermore, the power supply regions 3a, 3b are driven equally to a non-selected electrode of the recording electrode 2. An opening part communicates at least with the power supply regions 3a, 3b. A driving means drives at least adjacent recording electrodes with a time lag.
