发明名称 MIRROR-FINISHING METHOD FOR METALLIC SURFACE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new mirror-finishing method for a metallic surface for blocking micro-cracks and micro-porosities causing defects on a mirror- finished surface of an alloy steel before polishing to fix crystals falling away easily, followed by polishing. SOLUTION: In a surface-structure high-density treating process, balls are sprayed with compressed air to the deteriorated part of a metallic surface to be processed having micro-defects to form a surface having a high-density surface structure. Then, in a mirror-finishing process, a mirror-finished surface is formed by polishing and smoothing the surface having undergone the surface- structure high-density treatment. Target metals for the surface treatment are SUS, prehardened steel, SKD, high-speed steel, carbide tool steel, and the like. The size of the balls used in the surface-structure high-density treating process are in the range of 20-60μm, combined with more than one of glass balls, iron balls, crystal balls, and marble balls. The balls are sprayed to an alloy steel surface by being mixed with compressed air of 2 kgt/cm2-6 kgt/cm2.
