PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an waterproof electronic apparatus which is small in size, is inexpensive, and can surely prevent water drops from entering an operating. SOLUTION: The bottom-face housing section 17 having a memory card slot 15, a battery chamber 16, etc., of the waterproof electronic apparatus is opened and closed by means of a bottom lid 8. To the internal surface of the lid 8, an internal lid 24 which tightly closes the opening 14 of the housing section 17 when the lid 24 is put in the opening 14 and a water drop absorbing member 37 formed of expanded rubber are attached. The absorbing member 37 absorbs the water staying between the internal lid 24 and external lid 23 of the lid 8 when the lid 8 is opened and blocks the water flowing in the opening 14. When the lid 8 is closed, the absorbing member 37 is pressed and deformed and, consequently, the water absorbed in the member 37 is discharged.
