PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger which can enhance the work efficiency by surely dissolving the fear of the wrong assembly of a molding plate to form a side tank. SOLUTION: In a heat exchanger, which has the main body of itself and a side tank forming a passage for introduction and derivation of a heat medium, provided at the side of the body itself, and with the side tank being made of a molded plate A provided on the side of the main body of itself and a molded plate B provided on the opposite side of the heat exchanger, a claw is made at either the molded plate A or the molded plate B, and a cut in which that claw fits is made in the other so that they are asymmetrical about the center line halving each plate equally in the longitudinal direction.
