DISPLAY CORRECTION WAVEFORM GENERATOR FOR MANY SCANNING FREQUENCIES

PURPOSE: A display correction waveform generator is provided to operate in many scanning and display standards without requiring focus control adjustment for each display standard. CONSTITUTION: The method to generate a display correction waveform for a CRT display device includes a stage, where one of plural trace parts having different average values is selected in order to form a part of the correction waveform, and a stage where selected trace parts are combined with respective retrace line parts to complete the correction waveform so that the completed correction waveform may have a prescribed average value.
