PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encryption key generator and an encryption/decoding device that generate an encryption key or a decoding key by using a plurality of sets of use living body information, so as to realize sophisticated security management. SOLUTION: This encryption key generator is configured to generate an encryption key, on the basis of a synthesis code which results not from a single living body but from a combination of a plurality of sets of living body information. Codes acquired by reading living body information, such as a fingerprint pattern are consecutively or in parallel received, a key generating code is generated on the basis of various sets of read information such as a plurality of received living body information and a read sequence of a plurality of the received living body information, and the encryption key such as an encryption key and a decoding key is generated, on the basis of the generated code. Furthermore, encryption/decoding processing of data is executed on the basis of the generated key. |
