<p>PURPOSE: A biological oxidation and filtration equipment is provided, which provide physical function to filter turbidity, biologically decomposing function to remove organic matter together with nitrogen, oxidation function to oxidize iron and manganese, ventilate and floating treatment function to remove volatile organic compounds such as odorous compounds and algae by floating and to automatically discharge at back wash, and aeration function to increase dissolved oxygen to provide for microorganism to propagate. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a raw water intake part(10), a biological contact filtration part(20), a filtered water outlet(30), an oxidation treatment air supplying device(40), an air back washing device(50) and a water back washing device(60). At the biological contact filtration part(20) in which gravel(222) and sand(221) are filled, water is filtered, contacted with microorganism and collected at the collecting basin(24). Dissolved oxygen is also increased to improve the environment for microorganism to propagate and oxidizing air is fed to the spot between filter media and water collecting basin.</p> |
