PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the problems that time and labor are required in finish work of a silicone-caulking material bulging out of a joint part in conventional jointing of a top plate and a sink, a space for storage is required at a work site for curing the caulking material until hardened, the next work cannot be done during this period, and assembly workability is bad. SOLUTION: When a sink 2 made of stainless steel is integrally jointed with a top plate 1 made of artificial marble through a sealing material 4 of silicone in a gel condition, a tape 5 made of silicone rubber having no fluidity and having self-adhesion property is arranged over whole periphery of a peripheral fringe of an opening 1a for mounting the sink formed on the top plate 1, thereby to prevent the sealing material 4 in a gel condition inserted between the top plate 1 and a flange 2a of the sink 2 from leaking out into the inside of the sink 2 by the tape 5.
