PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing box with a small occupied area in use to secure a space for sewing work. SOLUTION: The sewing box 11 is composed of a box body 12 formed by synthetic resin material in a flat rectangular shape, an internal tray 13 and a cover body 14. A first partition wall 25 and a second partition wall 26 are located on a bottom plate in an opening of the box body 12. A projecting tip 31 is formed on the center of upper edge of the first partition wall 25 in upper direction along longitudinally with the first partition wall 25. A through-hole that communicates to the inside of a holding part 39 is formed on the center of the backside of a bottom plate 34 of the internal tray 13 and the projecting tip 31 can be intruded in the holding part 39 through the through-hole. In the intruded state, the internal tray 13 is taken and supported on the first partition wall 25 of the box body 12.
