PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an icing preventing device and a motorcycle, having this icing preventing device which prevents deterioration in suppression of suction volumetric efficiency to eliminate power consumption. SOLUTION: This icing preventing device, preventing causing of malfunctions of an engine with water in intake air frozen in a carburetor, is provided with a draw in body 1 of the outside air opening one end face and a draw out body 9 covering one end face of the draw in body 1 to guide clean air filtered by an air filter 7 into the carburetor. The other end face of the draw in body 1 of the outside air is formed as a cooling plate 2 of superior thermal conductivity, in its outer surface a plurality of radiating fins 11 are juxtaposed, many drainage grooves 12 extended in the vertical direction are juxtaposed in the inner surface of the cooling plate 2, and a water drop to dew in the inner surface of the cooling plate 2 is drained via the many drainage grooves 12 and a drain hose 6 to outside the draw in body 1 of the outside air. By eliminating heating of the carburetor and increasing of an intake air temperature, decrease in intake air density can be prevented, and suction volumetric efficiency can be maintained and improved. |
