1. A method for decreasing cell viability or decreasing cell proliferation of a cancer cell in an individual in need thereof, comprising administering to the individual a therapeutically-effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising:
a. a synthetic miR-101 molecule comprising:
i. an active strand comprising a sequence that is at least 90% identical to mature human miR-101; andii. a separate complementary strand that is at least 60% complementary to the active strand and has a 5′-terminal nucleotide that is chemically modified to comprise a lower alkylamine group, and b. a pharmaceutically-acceptable excipient. |
