摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic image pickup device capable of reducing a chromatic flare for a wide natural subject. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an electronic imaging device 1 including plural pixels having three or more different spectroscopic characteristics for obtaining a color image and an image pickup optical system 3 forming a subject image on the image pickup surface 2 of the device 1. The optical system 3 is constituted to satisfy a following conditional expression (1) assuming that a minimum F value is Fmin, and the absolute value of the spherical aberration amount of a marginal light beam on an h-line (404.7 nm) is Lh and the absolute value of the spherical aberration amount of the marginal light beam on a d-line (587.56 nm) is Ld when the F value is Fmin, and satisfy a following conditional expression (2) assuming that the transverse chromatic aberration amount on the h-line to the d-line when the image height ratio of maximum image height is 0.9, 0.7 and 0.5 is Sh. (1) (Lλ-Ld)/Fmin<=0.07 mm and (2)|Sh|<=0.04 mm.
