PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate inconvenience such as buckling, etc., even if an excessive deflection is generated in a sheet of paper at the sheet carry-in hole. SOLUTION: A finisher 100 of a copying machine 200 includes a sheet transport path 6 connected with a sheet carry-in hole 4 and a punch device 10 installed in the path 6 and equipped with a sheet stopper 30, and the sheet carry-in hole 4 is furnished with a movable upper guide plate 20 and a stationary lower guide plate 22, wherein the movable upper guide plate 20 is arranged movable selectively between the sheet receiving position and carry-in hole enlarge position. The movable upper guide plate 20 is controlled by a controlling means in such a way as located in the carry-in hole enlarge position at least while the sheet is stopped by the stopper 30.
