PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed wiring board at a low cost which can detect the burning of a printed wiring board which is caused by short-circuit of an electronic component or the like mounted on the board. SOLUTION: A burning detecting pattern 20 which is formed of the same material as the ordinary wiring material with the same process is disposed on a printed wiring board. When the burning of the printed wiring board 1 progresses and the pattern 20 is burned out, an inverter gate 13 outputs a burning detection signal 21, and cuts off a power source to the printed wiring board 1.
