PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording device in which index information discriminating invisible information recorded in a recording medium can be updated automatically and the control of the recording medium can be performed easily, even if new invisible information is recorded in a recording medium in which invisible information is already recorded. SOLUTION: An index sheet 11 in which visible information can be overwritten repeatedly is attached to a recording medium 10. An information recording device 1 performs the recording of invisible information for the recording medium 10, when a recording state of invisible information in the recording medium 10 is varied, visible information in the index sheet 11 rewrites it to appropriate information. Therefore, even if invisible information is recorded in the recording medium 10 repeatedly, as troublesome work such as conventional relabelling of a label and the like is not required to perform, the control of the recording medium 10 can be easily performed.
