PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commutator motor that assures connection between a connecting terminal in the stator side and a terminal connecting metal of a brush device. SOLUTION: This commutator motor is provided with a brush device 21 comprising a rotor 7 and a stator 11 accommodated within a frame 1, a stator winding 13 wound to the stator 11, a commutator 10 provided to the rotor 7, a connecting terminal 17 provided to the stator 11 for connection of end part of the stator winding 13, a cylindrical part 25 for slidably accommodating a brush 24 to supply a current to the stator winding 13 by placing in contact the connecting terminal metal 26 connected to the connecting terminal 17 and the commutator 10 and an inserting hole 30 for inserting the cylindrical part 25. As a result, the connecting terminal metal 26 is integrally formed with the cylindrical part 25 and are then inserted into a through-hole 30.
