PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed tablets immediately after a tablet container is fitted. SOLUTION: This tablet feeder comprises the tablet container with the tablets contained therein, a tablet feeding means to feed the tablets of the number according to the prescription after the tablet container is fitted, and a judging means to judge whether or not the tablet container to meet the prescription is fitted to the tablet feeding means is fitted in to feed the tablets to meet the prescription by the tablet feed means when the tablet container containing the tablets to meet the prescription is fitted to the tablet feeding means by an operator. As a result, when the tablet container is fitted, the tablets can be rapidly and efficiently fed without operating any start switch or the like.
