PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide door device performing smooth sliding operation. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a frame part 10 formed with an opening 10a, and a slide plate 5 positioned along a one side face side of this frame part 10 and provided with a projecting slide pin 23 sliding along a slide guide groove 22 formed on the frame part 10. A notch 22c for discharging dust or the like is formed on an end part 22a of the slide guide groove 22. The dust is gathered to the end part 22a of the slide guide groove 22 in association with the sliding operation of the slide pin 23 and it is discharged outside the groove from the notch 22b. By this, the slide pin 23 housed in the slide guide groove 22 can smoothly perform sliding operation with respect to an inner wall of the slide guide groove 22, and an opening area of the opening 10a can be positively controlled.
