METHOD FOR REPRESENTING REAL-TIME MOTION

An automated system (100) for tracking, encoding, transmitting, and decoding the movements of multiple objects within a predefined area. Special marks (17af-17i) are placed on the objects, with at least one mark (17af) designating the origin of each object, and these marks are tracked as the objects move. The system relates all non-origin points on each object to the designated origin using a three-dimensional coordinate system (17cs), and relates the designated origin of each object to a designated origin of the predefined area. The system transmits a data stream including the predefined area designated origin, the designated origin points of the objects with respect to the predefined arear designated origin, and the non-origin points of the objects with respect to the object origin point. A computer (60) receives the data stream. A desired point of view coordinate, which can be related to the designated origin of the predefined area, is determined. Finally, the system recreates the movements of the multiple objects as they would appear from the desired point of view.
