PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems with the conventional display panels that the display panels are cracked in some cases in the case of an error of handling in their manufacturing process or are cracked in thermal stages and further substrates are frequently warped or waved by thermal expansion difference, etc., from moldings on the substrates with PDPs and FEDs to be subjected to the many thermal stages and the undue force for correcting warpage acts on such substrates and leads to the destruction of the substrates when the substrates are arranged to face each other and are then assembled. SOLUTION: This display panel is formed by using at least one member consisting of tempered glass or members consisting of metals or ceramics for an enclosure.
